DunDraCon FATE Accelerated Edition Submission Form
DunDraCon 46 COVID Policy
Please refer to our full policy statement
We are currently accepting submissions for games, and as has been in past conventions, it is important that we get your submissions earlier rather than later.
DunDraCon is recruiting a slate of FATE Accelerated Edition Basic scenarios as official games. As with the other introductory series, the format is strict, to allow for a pure experience with this intro: 4 hour games, 5 players, strictly limited to what's in the download rules book for the characters, and minimal extrapolation for NPCs, encounters, etc. GMs who are interested (and who do not already have a copy of FATE) should download the Pay-What-You-Like PDF on the Evil Hat Productions website. The list price is $2.50, but you may pay as little or as much as you like - even nothing. Take a look for the details.
GM perks will be a little different than usual: despite just a 20 player-hour commitment, DDC will still give each GM a full comp. However, no priority slip will be given for just one game. GMs who run any other game (including running the same FATE Basic scenario a second time) will get the priority.
This is not organized play; there are no competitive rankings and no fixed scenarios. Each GM comes up with his or her own content, consistent with the intro nature of the game.
Because we anticipate a large number of these short games, I'm constraining the available start times as given below to make sure we have good space utilization and still give every game its own room. I also strongly suggest you provide all characters, since it's going to be challenging to explain the rules and get in a good game in just four hours even with pre-generated characters.
All submissions must be received by December 26 to be considered for inclusion.
Important! You should have an acknowledgement of your game request from us within two weeks. If you do not hear from us within that time, please email our Games Coordinator. Every year, there are a handful of submissions that never reach us for reasons outside our control. If you don't follow up in the event of a delay, we might never know you submitted a proposal.
Please read our Game Policies before submitting a game.
The final game schedule will be made in early January.
